New course dates released for 2015 for HSE professionals
Noise regulations, and a basic understanding of noise theory and noise control is something that employers who are responsible for staff operating in noisy areas of over 80 decibels need to be aware of.
Pulsar Instruments, the UK ‘s fastest growing noise measurement products manufacturer, is announcing 3 new course dates for 2015. The aim of the course is to raise awareness of noise as a risk, increase HSE professionals’ knowledge of how to monitor noise and the current legislation together with encouraging safer behaviour and correct use of Protective Personal Equipment at work.
Face to face learning in this case is the best way to increase understanding of the key issues relating to the measurement and control of noise in the workplace including the latest regulations.
The latest workshop program covers issues such as basic noise theory, the terminology used in noise measurement, The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and BS4142 Method for Rating Industrial Noise affecting ‘Mixed Residential and Industrial Areas’. It also offers an interactive practical session at the end of the day where delegates get the opportunity to make some noise measurements under the guidance of experienced professionals.
