Neu- Servo Repairs is a manufacturing service provider who reached the milestone after originally growing out of a home garage.
Founded in 2000 by Phil Robinson and joined by his son Lee Robinson, the business now operates out of a modern unit in Bromsgrove.
The business has evolved considerably over those years and recruited two new apprentices last year. In addition to investing in young people Neu-Servo can also boast the experience of one of the areas oldest employees, Fred Hobbis, aged, 86 puts his good health down to a healthy lifestyle and stimulating work environment.
This past year, 2014, has proved to be a record breaking one as Neu-Servo experienced the best year in the company’s history.
A strong UK manufacturing outlook also means there is no sign of slowing down at Neo-Servo. Lee Robinson, sales manager said. “The energetic results we have experienced in recent years look like they will continue in 2015.
Robinson said. “We believe that the high quality of our clientele attests to our high standard of service. Current business for Neu- Servo is going very well as these past 15 years of Neu-Servo repair service has brought about steady and consistent growth, and we have become the country’s leading Servo motor repair center.”
Robinson continued. “In addition to this increased production in service, we have also expanded our scope. Neu- Servo has recently attained a series of high profile ‘Blue-Chip’ manufacturers in the area, and in consideration of these new business partnerships we predict that this will significantly bolster our current demand.”
Neu - Servo is the only independent UK accredited Servo motor repair facility authorized by Siemens A & D and certified to: ISO 9001:2008. The company, which is based in the West Midlands, strives to provide individualistic and specialised service solutions to our clients, and the Neu-Servo facility is organized to meet the growing demands of the computer numerical control industry. Neu-Servo offers 24-hour service options for repair and service of all AC/DC Servo and Spindle motors, in so doing Neu-servo has enabled many of its customers to reduce mechanical downtime by as much as 50% through its unique, responsive and customer focused service.
Robinson said. “We offer a full range of service repairs in our custom built machine shop including: responsive servo motor repair; Electronics repair services; full encoder tracking and encoder repair services; Tacho and resolver testing and feedback packages in closed loop to OEM Specifications and thermo-graphic testing technology.”
