The event which will take place on 20 May includes a tour of the brewery, a buffet and a tutored beer tasting. “We are delighted that Titanic is joining us to celebrate small Business Week,” says CIM branch president David Harrison. “Titanic Brewery has grown from a micro-business into an iconic UK brand and this remarkable transformation is a textbook story for marketers.” Guest speaker at the event will be Samantha Warrilow, Titanic’s social media, marketing and events manager, she will outline how the company has grown since its inception in 1985 and demonstrate the challenges and achievements that Titanic Brewery has dealt with in this business transformation, including successes in social networking. Samantha comments, “2014 has seen the biggest investment in Titanic Brewery’s history with over a third of a million pounds being spent on improving the quality of the beer we produce still further; as part of this project we have been considering all the beers we brew and how we might make them even more tantalising.”
